I hope you Dance (Lee Ann Womack)

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)

(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

These aren't mere words of a song. What is this life if full of care and you have no time to stand and stare... Take the time to smell the rose Take the time to hum a tune Take the time to stop and smile Take the time to skip and dance. I certainly do hope you dance..."

Dance to the rythm of your heart beat...

A trip to Cancun

Just when Shane was wrapping up the call on a Wednesday afternoon, sitting in my office I decided. His call to come see him was so genuine that I could not deny him the privilege or myself the honor of attending a Liberty League event – the Liberty Conference. I have become who I could possibly be and now I was looking to take another leap of faith in the direction of where I want to be.

I intended not to spend a penny on advertisement and yet find the perfect person who would be there for my children on evenings and nights when I was gone for the trip and also take them to school and bring them home. Right in front of me was the ad of a lady who was offering book-keeping services. I wrote to her asking her if she would watch my children when I had to travel out of town. She and I exchanged a few letters and she said YES. It was a major breakthrough since their Dad had left home. All I had wanted to do be there for them twice over. Now I was headed for a break through.

I looked up on the internet and found direct flights to and from Cancun for less than $400 inclusive of taxes. I went ahead and purchased them. The next day Michelle called and I told her of my travel plans and the flights I was booked on. God had not only decided to give me the wisdom to know but also the courage to take action and finally a friend to travel with. Michelle called me back 2 days later saying she had her passport and also her tickets to Cancun booked on the same flight.

MICHELLE & I in Cancun
We arrived in Cancun and spend three days at the conference and enjoying the hotel, the water, the weather which was a perfect. The sun wasn’t too bright and the days were of even 60 deg.F. The food was delicately flavored and the people at the event were friendly and caring. It was like a wonderful home coming. I danced for hours in the evenings and felt the power of the rhythm and motion. This is who I really was and knew myself to me for so very a long time.

The leaders and the speakers were great but the best part was knowing that this is who I am and this where I belong.

Michael Losier spoke of the Law of Attraction. Here was a man who had a very simple message nothing new or profound. But the best part was when he said he had been invited to speak in Panama and the number of people attending were 200 and he cancelled it because he was looking for a bigger crowd. I trust that he will return to Panama when they have 2000 people. For each of those 200 people will go out and attract 10 more people into their being so as to have Mr Losier bring his message to them. Here was a man who was taking a stand not just for himself but for 200 others in a land unknown. WOW!

Andy Andrews spoke of the 7 decision, but the best part was when the story of his 7 yr old son Austin, who being in the base ball field in Orange beach Alabama held on to his dad and cried. He said “Daddy, I am afraid.” There is a 7 year old in each of us who is afraid. Everyone is looking for someone they can confide in who will suspend all judgment and be there for them, hold them and tell them “it’s okay! I understand what you say. I know how you feel.” He also spoke of how his younger son who is four now. Andy and his son go out every night before bed and the child counts the stars. Adam has been doing this since he was 2. He points at the stars and says “Star, star, star, star, star, star, Moon… only one moon Daddy?” and Andy says “Yes, only one moon.” But many stars. It is wonderful to count the stars “star, star, star…” while pointing at them instead of 1,2,3… What a blessing, to recognize each star as a star, each person as a person and not as a number. I am neither my name nor a number identifying my age. Among all that’s profound of life that Andy made us aware of once more, the best was his sharing his prayers. Every morning we ask God bless me and everything we say again God bless us. And God is sure waiting saying “do something so I may bless it”. As we take action God blesses our action with results.

Finally Doug Weed, the world renowned author, speaker, Presidential advisor. On the inaugural night he spoke of “why network marketing?” and why Liberty League International is the best there. We do not need thousands of people signed up to make thousands or our millions. All we need is three people to get us started and putting our first thousand dollars into our pockets.

On our farewell night, he spoke from his research of 17years based on which he has published two books. One is on presidential children and the other is on presidential parents. What I received from his talk was that no one needs a great parent to be a great person. And great parents do not ensure great children. The children with less pressure on them and lurking in the shadows with a good strong mother who believe in them turn out to be great leaders. Bottom line: I am free from both my heritage and nationality. Whatever I make of myself is all up to me. If I fail it is because of the actions I took or did not and when I succeed it is only due to the actions I took and the choices I made.

A chance encounter => Life Transformation.

There are eyes that seem to look at us through time, through space and through ages. They are eternal glancing from beyond through every mask we wear into our core being and speak to us. They caress us gently like the cool breeze on a balmy summer evening through the haze of an amber sky across palms as bending over waters on distant islands.

I gazed at my Master’s eyes ever so fleetingly and kept turning away as they kept beckoning me and asking me to pick up the book on whose cover these beautiful divine face was printed. I kept turning away for in my ego state I kept judging my guru. How am I to know or decide if he was a true guru? How do I know he is not one more from the far east who arrived on the shores of the west and gave a nation and its people an escape from their reality.

It was almost two hours before I picked up the book and read the first line, and that was it. Very soon three hours had passed with me reading and reading each line in the book and devouring myself in this time that was over a century old. Nearing midnight as we were leaving our host’s house, I requested to borrow the book. The lady of the house said “take the book and keep it. My husband read it over 300 times and it is OK for you to take the book”. Never in my life I could read a book more than once so I never understood how one could read a book 300 times. Nor could I understand how someone was so glad to give up what the other cherished so deeply.

The next morning I began my journey along with my master through his life, days, his loved ones and fellowmen. The time frame in this book spans over half a century and I was so thrilled with my divine blessings. After the book was over, I experienced a state of depression and wondered as to how could I be blessed by this mahan-yogi or even speck of the dust of the ground on which he once tread. I now understood how a man could read this book 300 times, for I was ready to read the book all over again. But I did not want to live my life this way. In my heart I prayed every minute that I would somehow be graced by this technique of God communion; this connection with spirit, merge into God consciousness and make my master’s experience mine.

In less than a month, I found a flyer which said that I could be initiated into the path through a lineage of realized masters. I contacted them and in less 2 months I was flying into Miami and into my guru’s ashram to be initiated into the path of kriya yoga. I have been a student and a practitioner of this divine technique and I truly believe that every aspect of my being is divinely blessed by the masters and enlightened gurus and through my extended family of brothers and sisters through my guru’s heritage.

All that is unwanted in my life is being taken away from my life and everything that is helping me in my growth onwards and upwards I keep receiving everyday in every way through chance encounters and divine blessings.

I just thank God for his grace in my life, Gurus (saints of all religions, ascended masters and enlightened teachers) for their guidance, and all creatures big and small for their love and sharing their life and blessings with me in my journey through this life time on planet earth and beyond.

Sharing with you love, peace, abundance, prosperity and radiant health & vigour.
Jai Guru!
